La Petite Maison's Bikini – How to Make It

WThis is an easy interpretation of a beverage found on a new drinks list. It's a large-volume prepared mix that's bursting with the essence of a festive period, which makes it perfect for a holiday party. Save the extra citrus syrup for morning drinks, puddings, or for additional servings of bikinis.

Bikini

Serves 10 guests

To make the Citrus Syrup (yields 750ml)

300ml recently pressed clementine juice
200ml newly squeezed lemon juice
500g granulated sugar

For the Premix (produces 850ml, serving 10)

400ml premium vodka
100ml classic gin
150ml peach liqueur
200ml clementine cordial (from the recipe above)
Whole cranberries, to garnish
Mandarin essential oil, as a final touch

Instructions

Making the Cordial: Combine all the ingredients inside a pan, bring to a simmer, agitating to dissolve. After that, remove from the burner allowing it to cool down entirely. Transfer into an sealable bottle, seal and refrigerate it in the refrigerator, it can be stored for around four weeks.

To make Cocktail Base: Pour the specified liquid ingredients into one big jug, allow it to infuse for one hour, then pass it through preferably using a fine cloth, so it's completely strained.

When ready to serve: Measure 85ml from the batch mix into your stirring glass containing ice, and stir gently for one minute to chill. Filter to a chilled martini glass or a similar vessel, garnish with a few cranberries and complete it by giving it a quick spritz of the essential oil over the drink.
