Authorities reported that 450 drones and several dozen projectiles struck the country's power systems, describing such strikes as "cynical and calculated" and against "everything that sustains normal life" as winter approaches.

Government officials told the media that Moscow was intentionally trying to demolish the electrical infrastructure, with strikes already disrupting energy systems.

Authorities confirmed utility staff and authorities were bracing for more assaults.
