The assault caused the temporary closure of the CTA tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park.

Two more people have been arrested in connection with a robbery at Heathrow Airport where over twenty individuals sustained injuries by a substance believed to be pepper spray, according to police.

A 24-year-old man, was taken into custody in the Lambeth area on suspicion of theft and assault and a 23-year-old woman was arrested for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. They both remain in custody, authorities confirmed.

The arrests follow a probe into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the incident, two women were robbed of their luggage upon exiting a parking garage elevator.

A three-year-old girl was among the injured in the event. A total of five individuals went to hospital for treatment and have since been released.

Police arrested a man in his thirties for suspected theft and assault near the location. He was subsequently released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.

Authorities were alerted at approximately 8:10 in the morning GMT after reports came in regarding a number of individuals hurt by an irritating chemical believed to be pepper spray.

The attack - an event that authorities stated was isolated and not considered terrorism - resulted in train delays and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park briefly.
